Patient Preparation: Prepare for 24-hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM) by bathing beforehand, as the device must remain dry and cannot get wet during the monitoring period. Wear loose, comfortable clothing to allow easy placement of the arm cuff and monitor. Plan for a normal routine day so that blood pressure readings reflect your usual daily activities. Keep a detailed diary of your activities, sleep, symptoms (such as dizziness, headache, or palpitations), and the timing of any medications taken. Avoid vigorous exercise, excessive arm movement, and do not shower or bathe while wearing the device during the 24-hour monitoring period.
