Yes. CT venography can demonstrate venous filling defects consistent with thrombosis and can provide information about the location and extent of thrombus when CT venography is clinically appropriate.
Yes. It can demonstrate venous stenosis, occlusion, compression, or impaired venous drainage and show the anatomical extent of the abnormality.
Yes. Inform the medical team about kidney disease, previous reactions to iodinated contrast, allergies, pregnancy, diabetes, thyroid conditions, and other relevant medical conditions before the examination. Kidney-function assessment may be recommended when clinically appropriate.
