An EMG (Electromyography) is a diagnostic test that measures the electrical activity of muscles and the nerves that control them. When performed on 2 limbs, the test evaluates the nerves and muscles in either both arms (upper limbs) or both legs (lower limbs), helping neurologists diagnose nerve injuries, muscle disorders, and other neuromuscular conditions.

EMG (Electromyography) 2 Limbs is a diagnostic test that evaluates the electrical activity of muscles and the nerves that control them in either both arms (upper limbs) or both legs (lower limbs).
It is used to investigate symptoms such as muscle weakness, numbness, tingling, muscle pain, cramps, or suspected nerve and muscle disorders affecting the upper or lower limbs.
You may experience mild discomfort when the needle electrodes are inserted, but the procedure is generally well tolerated.
People with unexplained weakness, numbness, tingling, muscle cramps, radiating pain, or suspected neuromuscular disorders affecting the arms or legs may be advised to undergo this test.
EMG 2 Limbs evaluates muscles and nerves in either the arms or legs, while EMG 4 Limbs assesses both arms and both legs for a more comprehensive evaluation.
