What is a KIDNEY PANEL KFT BASIC?

Kidney Function Test (KFT) or Kidney Profile or Kidney Panel is a series of tests that help in evaluation of kidney (renal) health. It helps in testing how well the kidneys are working because kidneys help in keeping a balance of electrolytes in our body by removing waste products. The tests measure levels of substances such as minerals, proteins, and glucose or sugar, electrolytes like potassium, sodium, chlorides, in the blood stream in order to assess the current health of the kidneys.
